I had Jasper outside and he looked great I took some pictures of him https://www.chameleonforums.com/bagera-jasper-outside-40709/

A few moments after he got into his cage his eyes look really sunk in I took the best pictures that Icould... Is this normal that this would happen? Do their eyes go in if they are really upset?

EDIT--- If I stand behind him he cant look back and see me he has to turn his head

I have veiled chameleons that sink their eyes in when they see a camera, so it is possible he is just upset at being returned to his cage. I would give him a good misting, though, just to be sure he isn't a bit dry.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure their eyes sink in when they can be dehydrated

He is not dehydrated he took a nice healthy poo this morning... His eyes were ok outside than I brought him in and they looked like crap... They look a little better not but still not normal...

My veiled always has that when he has been outside. Nothing to worry, my former veiled's also had it, I don't really have an explanation for it, but all my veiled's were very healthy boys so I wouldn't worry. Maybe it has something to do with colder temperatures? When I take my chameleons inside it's almost evening and it cools down fast in the evening here.

Gizzy`s eyes sink if she is stressed - the vet said this is a normal reaction. We also noticed that her eyes sink a bit when she goes to sleep too. Hopefully it will not be significant, but i would keep a close eye on him anyway (sorry no pun intended). :)
