Sundew Carnivorous Plant Photos

Howdy All,

"Ponders" loaned me one of her sticky Sundew Carnivorous Plants. I shot this yesterday using my Canon 5D3, 100L macro with full set of Kenko extension tubes and a couple of flashes. There was a black background a few feet on the other side of the plant.

Howdy All,

I had taken a series of 10 shots to eventually create a "Focus Stack" using the freebie software tool called "CombineZP" but hadn't gotten around to combining the image stack until this morning! It did a pretty good job (some artifacting) of bringing together the various focussed depths into one shot showing alot more of the plant's details. This shot shows about a 1/4" length of one plant leaf.
