My boyfriend bought a Jackson Chameleon about a month ago. This young male was pretty active for the first few weeks but has been acting strange the last few days. He just sits at the top of his cage and doesn't seem to move ever. I put crickets in there today but he hasn't eaten anything yet. We live in North Dakota and we don't have vets that deal with these animals often. Any suggestions on what is wrong with him? What can I do about this???

Montane species need high humidity and cool temperatures I would start with checking the humidity this is important with montanes. And a basking spot of about 80 or so for young Jacksonii. Is it in a screened enclosure?
