I am just finishing with my custom screen cafe build and as I'm getting closer to being done I'm not debating on a Vailed or Jackson's Chameleon.
Understanding Vailed Chameleons sometimes are not the most social but easier to care for than Jackson's and Jackson's are more social but need a little more attention as far as care is concerned, can anyone offer a suggestion on choosing?

Jackson's don't have a more social but a more mellow attitude... They will not threaten you with open mouth as fast as a Veiled will but that doesn't make em more social, just less agressive and a bit easier to handle.

The real big difference is that a jax needs cooler temperatures at night (65-50F and can take a lot cooler), lower basking temps during the day and has a higher demand for humidity so you'd need to frequently mist him for several minutes at a time.
A veiled will do fine on room temperatures at night 50F>.

I haven't decided, it's going to be outdoors and I'm in Southern California so I am concerned about temp control durning the summer. I like the fact that Jackson's have a longer lifespan but idk still undecided.
