Hello,

I have a sambava panther chameleon and she has suddenly changed colours from a white strip to a red/orange stripe.

Two pictures below

Is everything ok?

Well I know nothing of panthers but after my veiled shed she developed darker green bars that where more vibrant after each shed. Did he just shed? Looks good to me:)

She shed about 2 weeks ago.

she has NEVER been this colour before.

More like the teal and orange colours above all the time.

This is a pic of her sleeping to show normal colours

Like I said, shes just maturing.

They change colors as they mature.

In fact, ambi males can got from a red bar blue bodied at 6 months..

to a blue barred red body at 1.5 years old.

they change. alot.

shes maturing, growing up, and she could be receptive.

Thanks for putting my mind at rest. Kind of loving the colour as it is quite neonish.

Thanks again guys and What age can she start reproducing.

Technically, as early as 6 months old. Though they should not be bred before they are 1 year old at least.
