success!!

ive had my chameleon just over a week and hes been a usual grumpy male veiled. but today ive made progress and its all thanks to dubia roaches. ive been trying to hand feed him crickets and locusts and he hasn't taken them from me, just out of his cup or off his branches.

this morning i decided to take out a dubia from my starter colony just to see. well he damn near raced over and snatched it right away then another and another. hes now sitting looking at me as if to say "where those roaches at?"

then i tried him with a cricket right after and yep he snatched that too. i think ive finally broken the barrier. so happy

I managed to hand-feed mine for the first time today too! although, he still turned his nose up at the meal worms
