substrate tray or water tray?

which one would apply to a veiled chameleon? probably going to get a live plant for the humidity levels. thanks for any help.
 
Chams don't need any substrate on the bottom of the cage. If you use mulch or dirt, they can eat it and it can kill them. Also they drink water off the leaves of the tree, they won't drink standing water, which is why it is important to mist their cage multiple times a day (i usually mist 4 times), just make sure the cage dries completely before misting again. With no substrate, it makes cleaning super easy, you just wipe the water off the bottom of the cage.
