Stupidest Question about misting hoses

Ok, this is probably the stupidest question ever, but I can't seem to pull the hosing out after putting it into the mistking or a misting nozzle. Is there a trick to taking the hosing out?? I'm pulling very hard, but am afraid I'm going to break something. Thanks all!!

There is a little o ring at teh base of the hose.before pulling out make sur you press your finger nail on it then pull out.
