Stupid cage....

I encountered a issue this morning when I brought the bottom half and top half of my cage inside. It turns out that the top have of my cage is about 2 inches longer and about 1 inch wider than the bottom have of the cage....:(

So I have 2 options. Option A: Leave it and have the door messed up. Or Option B: Cut the top frame in have and build seperate cages. I'm already $20 over my limit on building this cage, so my husband isnt going to like this plan much... LOL oh well

Better get the duct tape out. Picture would help us help you with fixing your dilemma. And seriously don't use duct tape. I was only kidding.

That stinks!!!

Measure twice, cut once!! ;)

HAHAHAHAH!

yes do.

i recently went to sell one of my used cages and had to go through like 20 panels before i figured out which had compatible dimensions. such a pain in the butt, when its only off by 1/4 inch. id put it together anyways and use it myself. but i couldnt in sound mind sell it to a newb cham keeper for $50

So after last nights little road block, I decided to cut the 6ft long top half of the cage to make it a 2x3x4 cage. This is just 1 cage going to need to make the other one after May 15th. Today I'm going to work on the putting the screen and door on this cage. This cage will be just for my female veiled Angel...
