stuff around nostrils

hi guys, my cham has been a little slower lately and been of his food, i have noticed that there are little deposits of what look like salt around his nose, i have been giving shower and wiping his eyes and nose, i don't have a clue what can be causing it because i know that i have my husbandy perfect not to sound big head. can anyone help me please

I wouldn't worry too much about that it's probably dried snot. I'd just flake it off and give him a few more showers, make sure he's not dehydrated.

It's excess minerals... Not necessarily due to over-supplementation but your right it's mostly salts and is usually pretty normal... Just keep an eye on it for a while in case anything else changes

Dried snot would be more of a problem, could indicate a respiratory infection. Anyway, if it looks like salt that's probably what it is, so don't worry......

Salt in nostrils and shedding that itchy skin *shivers* rare times I'm glad to be human.
