Stud chams.?

How many people have used another forum members chams to breed to their own.? Did uou send the girl to the boy or the boy to the girl.? How do you split eggs or babies if theyre a live bearer.? What did you use for collateral.? If any at all. Just curious to see.

i have had a friend, not a forum member whos male would not breed and he really wanted eggs so, he brought his female over and bred her with my panther.
we split the eggs. i still have a few incubating, most were infertal

i havent done this, but wish i had more local breeders or keepers around. i would do this.

Hmmm....okay. what if you were flying your cham somewhere else.? How would that work.? I mean, you can't fly the eggs back.

I will not do this because of the risk of ParasiteSTD... I dont want to risk my chams to other chams that are not in my care just because I do not know how they are being raised what they are beiing feed and how offten there cages are being cleaned and how offten fecales are done.JMO

Thats at your risk. I just will not no matter what.
I had a cham test clean 4 times the I did a random one a few weeks later and tested pos. for pin worm.... Un less they had 3 months worth of clean fecals right after another and then one a few days befor the plained pairing... I just wouldnt do it.

good practise to ensure healthy animals to the extent possible
critical to know the other keepers husbandry and have trust

I've had a female that entertained a visiting male (he actually lived with me for a couple months waiting for her to be "in the mood") and we split the eggs. I've had another female mated with a borrowed male, and the exchange was simply for one male and one female hatchling at three months old. I've brought male to females as well- different deals each time.

Every "payment" deal will be different.
