Hi. Is it just that round area? The pic is blurry so I can’t see well. If you look closely, is there any sign of any problem with his scales there? Maybe a wound, scar or something else? I ask only because of the round shape, which I’ve found has occurred on one of mine who has had small growths (papilloma and similar). Usually we just leave shed remnants alone and they should come off on their own or with the next shed. If they don’t come off with the next shed, you may need to intervene to avoid build up.

Ok, so yeah it does look kind of like there may be something beneath it. You could try to gently lift the edge and see if it comes off. It may not yet be ready though, so just wait and keep an eye on it.
I don’t know if pics of my girl’s thing will help at all, but here.
Even though she had a few shreds if shed on her, the round spot was over a small tumor (that I thought was a papilloma).
Close up you can better see it. This wasn’t yet ready to come off for a while. I don’t recall how long, but I think after a couple/few weeks I finally gently tried lifting an edge and the whole thing easily came off.
Your guy may have some sort of injury or growth beneath it. It could be something harmless, like maybe a cricket bite or scrape from a branch. I’m not a vet, or anywhere near it, but I believe as the skin stretches from swelling or whatever process is occurring, new scales need to grow and the old are shed.
