I have a male ambilobe that is around 1 year old i have just changed his cage to a larger one. he was dling fine, but befor thanks giving he started to go into shed and has not finished shedding. He eats and is active. His poop is formed and moist. He is not as active as he was in the smaller cage. I had to add a heater as my basement gets in the 50s at night. He has a basking spot that is about 95 degrees during the day and a uv b light from light your reptiles. He gets misted every two hours for 2 minutes at a time with a mist king system. What do I do to help thelittle guy?

How long has he been shedding exactly? Just give him extra misting, by hand if possible, which should help things along.

Yes, but make sure it is very gentle. Is there any sign that the limbs have lost circulation of blood? If there is still dead, white skin stuck to his head, legs, or tail, you may want to help. That is a last resort, because it can sometimes damage the new skin underneath. Where is the old skin still stuck?

A visit to the vet will always do some good. Maybe it is time for a checkup. If it is on his tail, you might want to try to brush that off very gently, if he lets you. I would normally advise against it, but if it cuts of circulation, he might lose his tail. The vet is the best option.
