Stressed baby Cham

Just give him his space. It may take a couple of weeks for him to settle into his new home. During that time he may display stressed colors a lot, not want to eat much, and hide often. Just be sure that he is drinking well and he should start eating in a few days. Try not to move things around in his cage and do you best not to sit there watching him all the time.
If you start to notice him sleeping during the day, notice sunken eyes, or think something is out of the ordinary, I would say, get him to a good reptile vet. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

thanks guys I'm going to post some pics so you can see for your self, Ill also keep you up to date with this little guy ! my next question is can any one recommend a good reptile vet in the event i need one ? I'm located in between San Jose - Monterey Bay california area ….

He does not appear overly stressed in those pics. Even in the "black" pic he is mostly blue with some black spots. I think he will be fine, just do as recommended above and give him some time to settle in. He will be good to go in no time.
As for vets, there is a thread in the health section that you can use to find vets by area.
Also, I would add some horizontal climbing branches and maybe some more foliage, thought he setup looks pretty good for a young panther. You will need to upgrade to a larger cage in a few months.

He is very nice. Other than what has already be suggested, the saucer could become a drowning hazard if the water level gets too high. So unless you are making sure the water level does not get high, I would replace it with a drainage system. Also, I assume you have a UVB light?

so that was the last pic i took of him during the day , He was rubbing his nose into the ficus is that normal ? I watched him do it a few times(about 4-5) … I thought it was odd behavior but i don't know so i figured it doesn't hurt to ask … I didn't get a picture of him solid black but he was when i turned his light off for the night he had no blueish color at all … I'll post a picture of him tomorrow and check out the link for the vets ! thanks for all the help

The rubbing the eye is something i noticed in the first week with my one chameleon I had shipped to me - I'm pretty sure it was due to being a bit dried out from the trip - I used a pump mister with a very fine spray and gave her extra misting but made sure it was warm water and not directly on her as she was very shy at first. The pump misters are about $15.00 and beat a spray bottle by about 500% - and you can get them at Home Depot or Lowes in the garden department. I tried to mist her at the same times every day so she'd get into the routine for when she got hooked in with my others. I believe that keeping to a routine is important especially in the first couple of weeks and helps them settle in .

thanks for all the info everyone ! I can't begin to tell you how much i appreciate it !! I just want to make sure i take good care of my little guy <3 so here are some pics of him this morning, he was dark when i turned on his lights but he started to turn blue for me while i was misting his cage

We are all here to help! He seems to be doing fine. Being a little stressed is perfectly normal at this point and nothing to worry about. Again, give him his space, and soon he will be happy as can be in his new home.
