Nosy Be: 7 month old
plant: umbrella tree
heat:75 watt bulb, basking is 85-90.
zoomed 5.0 compact UVB bulb
cage: 20x20x42
misting: 4x a day.

My chameleon completed his shed yesterday and today he has looked very stressed. Most of the time he is a very dark green with a purplish black underbelly. When he drinks he turns that signature Nosy be blue. When he eats he does too. He was very restless today constantly climbing on the screen. He doesn't have many nails so I get nervous about him falling, which he does from time to time (I rule out MBD because ive seen him pull himslet up onto the top screen with just two arms). I supplement 2x a week with calcium w/ D3 and once a week with reptivite. Since his shed his colors look a little more green and some brown showing. He was showing this while climbing on the screen opposite side of the heat bulb. Do you think hes stressed? How can I remedy the stress?

Is he still getting used to his environment? Am I stressing him out by going and checking on him every 20 minutes? what should I do?

Not experienced that much but they're meant to be left alone and not checked on every 30 minutes as that might stress them out too, happened to me with my cham when I kept on checking on him every single hour or something he showed signs of being annoyed and that when I went away from him he would return back normal and do what he was doing. What I do sometimes is peek at what my cham is doing whenever I'm not sure of what he does when I'm not there and I'd see a total different behavior and color from him. Try doing that, are you following everything else correctly?, temps look right, how long have you had him for and have you moved him into a new place recently?

I'm definitely a little excessive with the check ups but I just get worried. Ive only had him a month and he still is young, I think he might be six or seven months. I'm literally following everything to the "T".
