Where do you live and what’s the ambient temperatures like? You can move it around at first just to see what all your temps are at each level. As far as a regular position for it, I would probably suggest leaving it in the basking area IMO.

If you want temp then basking area but if you want humidity then you need to put it where he goes out of basking like under the plant leaves on a vine.

Btw make sure your mister doesnt directly hit that, that one is not waterproof if it is the one ive seen at lowes.
