They mated for about 15 minutes I think, I went off and he was still on her when I got back. I'm using the exo terra UV bulbs, the strongest reptile ones you can buy in the reptile stores...don't know if you know the exo terra range, I'm in the UK. The bulb is 30w 10.0

is this a screw in type of lamp or a tube lamp?

ExoTerra is not the strongest if you can get your hands on ZooMed Reptisun tube lamps. ZooMed outperforms the ExoTerra lamps by far. (not slamming you, just letting you know)

Hmm, thanks no that's great I'll look out for them in future though I can't say that I've seen any.

Tha answer to your question is the bulb is a tube not a spot.

Thank you all for your help, I think she is definitely gravid, she has indeed stopped eating and wouldn't even eat a large beetle grub today (which is her favourite occassional treat).
