Strange toe mutation

You know how there was that one thread with an owner concerned about his chameleon's "extra toe", and it really was an extra toe?

I just discovered that Monty has only ONE back toe on his right back foot.
I am absolutely SURE that he did not lose a claw there, because from the looks of it, the "toe" is just a little smooth nub next to the other toe.

Any one else with strange mutations of toes and stuff?

Here is a pic of what the back foot looks like.

Take a pic of the end of the foot.

More than likely, he lost a nail a while ago and it's all healed and clean.

Haha. It's the forum rule.

Really? I didn't know it was a rule. I thought it was just something people said!

You might see some chameleon butt, because the only way I could get a picture is when he raises his foot to poop.

See his toe really is farther back than it should be, sort of like he has half a toe. You can't really see, but it sorta looks .. creased.. behind where the toe should be.

It looks so much different in person. I will really stress that.

Maybe I should take him out to get a better picture.

I see a split but no toe nail.
And it's not like a real rule, but we all follow it.

ESP if we get new chams. Lol.

Take him out and try a pic.

He is pacing furiously around his cage so maybe it is good to let him explore.. Just gotta make sure he doesn't fall..

And also it is a small split, but really, it looks like one gigantic toe.

But you know, he has been climbing on the screen a lot lately. Which is also my concern. I let him out when he does though.
