strange poop! please help.

So ive had extra time to hang out with frankie before work this morning and saw hin poop for the first time (5 month old male veiled) and urates came out first in a very mucusy sac. So to speak. I would snap a pic but It hit every branch on the way down and landed in the water that's draining out so a pic wouldn't help. Is this a normal occurrence. This is my firt time seeing it actually happen. I assume its had much time to dry before I normally come home..
Any input please. I've changed none of his feeding supplementing lighting or anything since the last time I filled out the form and made the proper corrections 2 months ago.

Side note: the rest of his poop was perfectly normal. And ive always given him a wax worm or two and mealies here and there every couple days

White with a little bits if yellow. And the little bits of yellow Isnt completely strange form him. He drinks for sure he has a dripper all day cascading down 8 or 9 leaves. And 3 heavy mistings a day.

I assume it has to be mucusy for it to come out without abrasions. But it looked like a lugi with urates in it.. gross

Sounds normal to me.

I have observed them to be being more, and less mucusy, at different times.

I cant find a good picture or video example of a "normal poo" right now.

Keep an eye on him, and maybe try to get a picture next time. ;)

If there is excessive liquid, Im sure that could indicate an issue, but if his poo is normal otherwise, I would not worry at this point. ;)

Thanks solid :) a little more of a graphic description is that it came out in about an inch long blob so to say with urates in side of It and dangled there till the rest came out and it dropped as A whole

Sounds like a good description of a chameleon pooing. :)

It is a weird thing to see yeah?

May you observe many more healthy poos!

If you have a pick of the poo in question, you might post it anyhow, just to make sure.

Like I noted it hit at least 3 branches leaving a trail. I felt compelled to clean it up before I left.. I injected a couple feeders with water. Could it be over hydration? I did It a day or so and a couple days to clear up some orange and yellow in the poo. Which it did farly well.

While technically a chameleon(or any living thing) could become "hypersaturated", I am unaware of method to accomplish this, aside from ingesting an insane amount of water. We are talking a LOT of water though, and I just dont see any animal drinking that much water, except humans:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication

Because we are so smart. :)

Yea that doesn't seem possible through wat I've done given a feeder holds 4 drops of water lol..

Well thank u again for ur above and beyond attitude torwards helping. It's Much appreciated. I will keep a watchful eye on my chams behind and report any pics I can get.

Also the stance he accomplished during this bomb dropping was quite a sight to be seen. :)

Welcome to "Poop Watch 2012"!! LOL

Best advice: Watch for the next episode and see how things come out then?
Probably everything is okay since you have only seen the leftovers before. And not that my cham is normal, (far from it!!!) but his urates always come out in a kind of bubble thing that dissipates and leaves normal looking urate...

Happy hunting!:D

If you think seeing him poop was weird, wait until you see him flash his man-stuff at you!
