stoped eatting

once a female veiled is gravid how long do they stop eatting for ? Our
poor cameal hasnt eatten for over 1 week, still no signs of diggin but she always goes to bottom of cage but not in laying bin...is this normal ? y wont she eat? how long till she lays?

The amount of eggs, the size of the eggs and the size of the female are some factors when the female will stop eating. She could go a couple weeks without eating. With all the eggs inside, there is often little room in the gut area. SOmetimes the egss can push against the organs and stomach. SO naturally they won't eat if that is the case.
Chams often will explore area to lay to find the right spot. Give her some more time, she may not be ready yet

she is about 4 months now this is her and our first infirtile egg laying experience!
she drinks but shows no intrest in any type of feeder. she has been graved for about 1 month now!

1 tips for sure.

A lot of inexperienced keepers get worried so much and start peeking, checking up on her, arranging stuffs inside, putting the bucket in and out, and essentially bothering her.
They forget the essential ingredients for your chams to successfully lay eggs is a complete privacy.
Without privacy, she will refuse to lay eggs; thus, lead to binding problem.

After you put the necessary furniture (bucket with moist sand), learn to give her ample alone time no matter how hard.
