My chameleon has a small bump like a small tarsal spur but it's not like other male spurs I've seen. The chameleon does have a small buldge under the tail for the genitalia too which I would assume is a male
Also if it was male and at least 3months old you'd see his "male" coloring like this. This is my 3 1/2 month old Male Veiled when he's fired up and when he's chilling like Bob Dillon.

My veiled looked just like that when we got her, we thought she was a male for a very long time. She was confirmed female when she gained weight and was showing gravid colors. Chameleons can be deceptive little critters.
