still having trouble with my female panther

I got this female about six months ago when I first got her I noticed she had a tongue problem and could not see her food very well. I took her to the vet and the vet told me that she may have injured her tongue. So I waited a little while and found that the problem got a little better then it would get worse then it would get a little better then it would get worse again. So I took her back to the vet then the vet told me it was a vitamin A deficiency after I recommended it by the way this is the only vet in my area. So I gave her some preformed vitamin A in very small amounts over a nine day timeline about 1000 metric units every three days. It started to get better I thought and then it went back to the way it was. Her supplements she gets multivitamins twice a month calcium with D3 twice a month and calcium with no D3 every feeding she's eating well and gaining weight. It is just her eyesight and tongue that are the problem. Her basking temperature is 80 degrees up two 84 degrees. Her ambient temperature is 70 degrees two 74 degrees she has Arcadia 6% T5 lighting and a 75 watt incandescent bulb for Basking. Her cage is 32 by 18 by 32. I have tried everything I can think of. I got load with repashy bug Burger powder and I have fresh vegetables like kale mustard greens butternut squash and some fruits occasionally fruits spoil quickly. I feed her crickets as a stable. She gets super worms twice a week she will eat dubia roaches maybe one a week I don't think she likes them. I have silk worms. I do not like hornworms because I cannot breed them. I also have a male Panther doing just fine. And he gets fed the same exact way. She has a laying bin that is 12x12 by 18 with 16 inches of dirt. I have asked my vet to do blood work but they have refused. If anybody can help me it would be much appreciated because I do not know what to do now this is not urgent and she is not going to die she is gaining weight she weighs 52 grams she is between 10 and 11 months old and I weigh her every two weeks she has gained 5 grams since the last weigh-in. I am very sorry that this post is so long thank you for any help and thank you for anyone who has taken the time to read this post any help is much appreciated

I don't know if this will help but have you run a fecal? A parasite load can slow development. I'm guessing you covered that base already.

I thought about that but my vet refused to do it they said that since she is gaining weight there is no need and they also said something i think is so crazy they said its normal for chameleons to have some parasites as long as they dont overload the animal. Now i dont know everything but if i can help it i dont want my baby girl to have any. I wish there was a better vet around me i even brought a fresh fecal to this vet and they threw it away

A few are normal but if you are seeing problems then the information is valuable. I hope you can find a more cooperative vet. Drawing blood is a mildly invasive procedure so I get why you don't rush into doing it but a fecal isn't. That's foolish.
