Sticky Pete Shed Pic

I noticed Pete was starting his shed yesterday. A few white places were appearing on his casque. Then this morning he had a bit more but not a whole lot and within hours, my next visit in he looked as though he had gotten into a box of tissues (see pic)! This is my first experience with watching him shed. Looking normal to me - but any insight that I might not be noticing? I would assume this tends to be a more stressful period for them. Is that a fair assumption?

His newly revealed skin is colorful but much darker than usual. Is this due to matbe his stressed state during the shed?

That's a great picture....I can only imagine how uncomfortable shedding is. It would surprise me if they didn't find it stressful.

The shed!

I am always amazed by how quickly it takes place and is over! I wanted to get a pic of mine when I firs saw signs and a few chours past I came with the camera expecting to get a nice pic and ahhhh TOO LATE! That's what I get for assuming as a new Cham owner! "A day late & a dollar short"...

This is Sticky Pete after the Shed.....He is getting more and more reds and yellows on his neck and eyes....love it!
