Is it a good idea to handle my 2 1/2 month old cham with a stick?

I think it's a solid option... most will remind you that chameleons are not social pets and likely don't enjoy handling however having a good way to get your Cham out for cleaning or vet visits is valuable.
I used a smoothed 2 foot (branch almost more than a stick) stick to build trust and provide a better Sense of security he can get good grips and traverse if he wants vs using my hands alone. Well now my guy has associated it with going outside for natural sunlight if I introduce the stick and he is interested we go get some sun or I'll let him free range in a pothos while I do some maintenance on the enclosure. If he ain't having it I just leave him be.
