Steve vet update!

Hey all. Steve mouth rot was still starting and no surgery is needed! I do however have to give him some shots every 72 hours. She gave me some food to mix up and syringe feed him but ill try and temp him with real food. If he doesnt take then ill serve him that goop! anyways here are some pictures!

Steve on his way to the vet. He looks a little pissed but that's because of the sperm sack giving him some issues. It did eventually fall just before we got to the vet.

Steve weights 44 grams now! He is on his way to healthy!

Steve had his second shot last night he seems to take them well. He seems a bit sleepy after I dunno if its the shot or the stress of me holding his limbs so that my fiance can stick him. Lucky me she used to be a vet assistant with chameleon experince. Shes the whole reason my obsession of chameleons started.... anyways hes Im still force feeding him until he is able to go a few days without eating to hunt for him self. His pooped looked really good. Lots of pure white and big. He is eating about 3 crickets in the morning and 2-3 in the evening. I have noticed alot more color in him the past week. im gonna wiegh him tonight along with the pack and record how they are doing. Ill post more pics later!

He's a beautiful guy. Glad his mouthrot was still early enough that he doesn't need surgery, and that your fiance has vet tech experience.

thanks. I like him. He is doing good today. I was watching the Seahawks play with him today. Then he ate 5 crickets =) the most at one time so far. He is at 47 grams as of this morning so he is slowly getting there. Im sure it will take months to undo the pet stores neglect!

Glad to hear that your little guy is improving. Kudos to you for catching it quick and getting him right to the vets. I liked his picture on the way home. He looked happy!
