starting new cage build

I'm just beginning and have not figured it all out yet but here's the top and bottom. its going to take a while to get done but i have time

this is my first try I have a plan in my head but time will tell if it works out

i work in a mill shop and as my boss says we can build anything!!!!!!

ahhh, so some woodshop skills?

lucky...build anything...at no cost? If i had an employer like that they'd lose a lot of money cause I'd build something that I probably would be able to afford if I had to pay the expenses.

Whats your ideal and what kind of Cham and how old?

it's going to be a cylinder shaped cage this is just a prototype to get all the bugs worked out before I build the one I will use.

I do have to pay for materials but I get a very good discount...


no cahm yet but I'm leaning toward a panther

I will keep everyone posted on my progress but its slow going I work on it little at a time breaks ect.

Use the two vertical beams... Left side put hinges, right the clasp and take two 180 degree pieces of bent wouud and make half of the thing a door.... I really like this idea... I may have to try this

thats the plan I have the bent pieces glued up right know hoping to have the door done by Friday

got the door finished just have to get the hinge applied and figure out a latch
and then the screen
