I know that when you purchase a Cham at around 3 months, they need to start in a smaller enclosure until they get to be older and better at finding food etc. Is it possible to buy a larger enclosure and simply put a false floor into it that can be removed therefor not having to buy a second enclosure?

Just a though. Any ideas/opinions?

Well what I did when my Veiled was young I bought a 24" x 24" x 48" Reptibreeze and took some pillow cases and poked holes in the corners and attached them to the sides of the cage, about halfway up, with twist ties.

Yea, that's totally fine. And if you feel like your youngster is growing quickly and hunting really well, you can see if he does well in the full-sized cage. When I got Daedalus I thought he was growing really well, so I started putting him out on a free range that consisted of 2 6' fake ficus trees in a screened in lanai. He could wander the whole lanai if he wanted but he had the two trees to live in, and that's a lot of space. Now he's full grown and lives in a 5' x 4' x 2.5' cage, so he's always had a lot of space!
