Squee makes sudden turn for the worst

Well, vet called, blood test inconclusive, some results abnormal, but could
be caused by several things, including stress.
He needs to consult with a few friends who know about chams.
He told me to continue with the Baytril at least until I here back from him on
Monday.
We both think there is something else going on then just infection, and this,
'not knowing' is driving me crazy!!
Squee is still in his box, temp is 83F, and lid is open so half the box has sunshine from the window, other half in shade.
He is moving around, but not trying to get out of the box.

Squee is acting better today, even tried to get on the free range via climbing my are.
This, see-saw, sick one day, normal the next, has me very confused!!
He also made a huge poop this morning, and drank a little from his dripper cap.
Instead of putting him in my home-made "hospital room", I decided to simply
make a false floor to restrict his movement, and keep him from going down
to the middle of the cage, where it's cool.
He needs to keep himself warm, which I am suspecting is part of the problem.
There is a piece of plastic screen below the dripper, so water can drip to the bottom without getting the cardboard floor soaked!
I think he will feel more comfortable in his own home

Well, gave Squee his Baytril dose, and managed to get a few drops of pedilyte in him as well.
I have noticed that he seems to perk up a bit the morning after a Baytril dose.
I did see him taking water, but as I watched close, I could see he was not actually getting much of the water in him!!
I also noticed that he opens his mouth for some reason directly after getting his Baytil.
May have something to do with the yucky taste??
Next time this happens, I will be standing by with a loaded pipette of pedilyte to wash the Baytril down.
Offered him a nice fat silkie, but he refused it, gave to Smeagie instead.
When I do this, he does not get nearly as pissed off and stressed as when the vet does it.
He does not hiss at me or anything, he just opens his mouth and tries to wiggle out of my hand. Then he is perfectly calm.
When we were at the vet's, Squee actually lunged at him, gapping and trying to snap his fingers off!
Never seen timid little Squee act that way before.
I cant wait for this ordeal to be over!!
