Squeaking/Burping/Funny Noises

My chameleon when we took him out to feed him this morning was making noises like a very tiny wookie. Like a squeaky roar. Very strange. Also, when we feed him he sometimes burps, not like the noise of a human one, just simply expelling gas from his mouth.

Is this normal? I havent heard his wookie noises before, which is why i ask, but he doesnt seem distressed or anything, just making strange noises every now and then.

i think chams with respiratory problems make noises when they breathe, but im not sure if its the same kinda noise as ur explaining, i dont think chams shud make noises unless theyre hissing :S

He did have food in his mouth at the time. I thought it might be air pockets in the stuff we are feeding him (like paté through a syringe) coming back up.

He may have just been hissing? If my big male Veiled is displeased he will make little "puffs".

URI? Whats that?

Basking varies between 29-31, ambient between 25-27. I dont have a way of reading humidity, but i spray him 3=4 times a day for lengthy durations.

Is it possible you got some of the pate stuff in his airway? that would make him try to clear and and possibly result in noise.
the other possibilities are URI or hissing and probably other things
URI = upper respiratory infection

Im not too worried as i fed him again earlier and he didnt do it. I think it was just a wall of pate forcing some air down into him and him burping it back up. He seems happy enough now. Cheers for the opinions guys :)
