Square vs Rectangular Enclosure?

For a male veiled chameleon, would a square enclosure be better than a rectangle shaped enclosure.

Example: 24x24x48 vs 18x36x48.

Does not really matter. As long as your have a cage that is at least 4 feet tall, it can be as wide as you want it.

I assume the motivation behind the rectangular cage was the fact that it takes up less space.
