I know we got some wanna be entomologists floating around the forums here. Spotted lanternflies. We have been inundated with the mofos this last month here in PA. If these things were non toxic I could feed 100 chams a day easy. Soooooooo who wants to figure out if they're poisonous or not?

Just some fast research about the Spotted Latternfly that is native to China, India and Vietnam. They are in China consider it a poisonous insect (Wikipedia). While introduced to the western world USA as an invasive species. They are considered toxic from the plant food that they eat.

I don't recommend feeding this species of insect to captive chameleons.
