Spine Issue on Veiled Chameleon

Your Chameleon - Veiled Chameleom, Male, about 1 and a half years old. A little over a year I've owned him
Handling - once or twice a week
Feeding - Crickets; 6 a day every day in the morning
Supplements - Calcium dust Mon.+Wed, no calcium dust Tues.+Thurs, calcium dust with d3 Fri. Reptical Calcium and Zoo Med d3 calcium dust
Watering - Drip System; Misting 4-5 times a day for a minute or two; yes I often see him drink from the dripper
Fecal Description - usually 2 black turds and a white one; Never tested for parasites
History - Nothing crucial to this issue

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Exo Terra Glass with Screen Top 36L X 18W X 36 H
Lighting - Zoo Med Tropical UVB strip; zoo med basking bulb of 75 w; under basking area, 95 fahrenheit
Temperature - about 75 fahrenheit on cage floor and out of lamp; 70 fahrenheit is the lowest at night; measured witha digital thermometer
Humidity - anywhere from 40%-70%; maintained with a misting and a drip system; a petco humidity gauge
Plants - No live plants
Placement - Corner of office where there is no traffic; top of cage is about 4.5 feet off of floor
Location - Pittsburgh, PA, USA

Current Problem - I noticed after he shed off the dead skin from his spine, Reptar had some white, tender looking skin/ muscle exposed instead of their being the actual skin bumps/ spikes

Im pretty certain thats a burn

Looks like he may have got burned and the shed was dead skin pealing not a shed.

That does look like a burn, you need to be sure your basking light is not too close to the cage. He should not be able to get close enough to burn himself. I would see a vet for treatment.
