This morning's macro. I didn't put "Orb Weaver Spider" in the title since I can't change it if I'm wrong .



You should see it when he turns on those strings of lights at night .

Howdy little leaf,

My neighbors told me about the neat web in their backyard. I started taking photos at 7am and finished at 8am after almost 150 shots. There were half a dozen that I marked as keepers and then finished-off in Adobe Lightroom .

Howdy Ponders,

You found out my secret . After taking a bunch of "dry" shots, I went ahead and misted the web with my old chameleon pump-up mister . Some of the dry ones were really nice but not quite as interesting as the misted ones.

Now that the spider is out of the bag, here are a few of the dry shots :
(These are all hand-held so it is a bit tougher to get super-sharp shots - these are not as sharp as I'd usually get with a tripod ).

Look at the mandibles on that! Those pictures are amazing! If I tried to do that, it'd be a big blur.
