I've been interested in these guys for a long time and have been doing some research but there's just not a lot of information on them. So I have some questions for you guys. Is there care similar to Rieppeleon Brevcaudatus. I'm guessing not because Cameroon is a real wet place but still want to know if it is. Also I've heard gravid females are hard to take care of is this true. Also if any of you know threads or articles on there care please post a link. And please share your knowledge on them :).

i know someone on the furms owns these. right now pygmys are hard to get :( i know there are some pygmys on LLL atm but they are not what your looking for and only male. hopefully osmeone who knows more will help you further.

I know kingsnake has some for sale but the pics of them look a little unhealthy but there also WC what can you expect.

I know adcham isn't the best source for these guys but I looked at it any way and they said they give live brood and live on the west coast of Africa but said Rhampholeon boulengeri lived on the east coast and lays eggs. I herd people call spectral's the Cameroon pygmy chameleon is this not true here is a link to adcham http://web.archive.org/web/20081120122456/http://www.adcham.com/html/taxonomy/species/rspectrum.html .

They do not produce Live brood. They lay between 2-3 eggs per clutch. Ad Cham is wrong.

Does any body know about dusting these guys

I like that Ranch Flavoured Shake 'n Bake but realistically most Rhampholeon are too small to eat. Iguana is good.

That AdCham article never said they give live birth; where did you read that? They do come from Cameroon and lay eggs. Most specimens you will find are wild caught and have an abysmal survival rate in captivity. That said daytime temperatures should be 73-77F with a high humidity level. They can tolerate a moderate temperature drop at night. Gestation is about 40 days and incubation is about 160 days.

Here are several good articles on pygmies and pygmy care:

They prefer relative wet places to store their eggs. So keep so parts of the terrarium very wet and others not so that they have a good gradient

Thanks for the info I know cameroon has the second most rainfall in the world so I figured that they like it wet but I didn't know about the dry spot so thanks :)
