Species export bans?

All species of Chamaeleonidae from Madagascar except for the 4 mentioned Furcifer species and Brookesia supercilliaris, B. theili, B. stumpfii, and B. therezeini are on the CITES import "suspension." It's actually not that Madagascar can't export them, but rather that the destination countries' wildlife authority are "supposed" to not accept them in. South Africa itself bans the export of its wildlife, so all species of true Bradypodion and endemic South Africa Chamaeleo would be considered banned as well.
