I have just recieved my first Panther Chameleon, he has been home for only 2 days now. He is a calm and friendly little guy, he hand feeds and is not easily stressed at all. I did my research, not to say that is enough but it certainly helped; but there is one thing I can not find a clear answer about. Why is he perfectly warm and content but his tail is cold? When he comes out to visit with me his tail is cold to the touch. I have his cage temps right as well as the humidity so I am at a loss. Any other tips for a newbie is highly appreciated! Thanks :)

Just a guess, but I would assume this is due to having less circulation in the tail due to smaller surface area. Are there any visible signs of injury or abnormality? Color difference? If not, I don't think this would be a problem. Again, just a guess. :)
