sore on lip; need advice

Need advice on below health problem. Have very limited experience with chameleons. Please advise.

Dwarf Jackson Chameleon in our care for 2 years. Has had the sore on his lips for 7 days; very swollen in the surrounding area. No signs of pus/infection. Has been eating/drinking normally until 3 days ago. Still relatively active in the enclosure.

Normally eats calcium dusted mealworms and gut loaded crickets. Recently went through a shedding cycle. Watered through dripper system and misting in screen enclosure with live/fake plants and plenty of climbing sticks. No known health problems at all.

You should get him a vet appointment, it looks like infection.

It needs to be cleaned out thoroughly by a vet, a culture and sensitivity test done to determine the antibiotic that the chameleon needs to be put on.
