Some pictures of an unco-operative Budgie

Just to let you see what my set up looks like and some pics of my lovely girl.
I've had her 2 weeks, she's about 8-9 months old and today was the first day I did a massive "everything out / scrubbed / replaced" thing and I'm just not happy with how I've done it.
Not enough foliage at the top so I'll have to sort that out later.
But obvioussly Budgie is even more unimpressed by my efforts due to her evil glare and persistent brown colour, as opposed to her usual glorious green .

I have some treats in store for when she calms down though so I hope I will be quickly forgiven

Glad to see that Budgie's geting her cage cleaned like it or not. Do you have a laying bin for her? She should have one at all times at her age because females can and often do lay eggs even without a male being around. I'm attaching my blog for you below about egg laying and the laying bin.

Jann, I went out and got an egg laying bin last week but its HUGE, following your 12x12x12 inches advice and I'd lose so much foliage that I'm stuck where to put it! The Viv is only 17 inches square at the bottom (but 4ft high of course). She has just stared shedding for the first time since I've had her and spends quite a bit of time at the lower end of the enclosure around the plant pots (which are all covered with large stones so she can't dig / eat).
I know the egg laying is on its way, but will have to find something smaller ASAP
