Yea I have 3 reverse trios of U. sikorae. Those are some males pictured. Was not suppose to have all them males but things happen, Oh well. Ive had most of them since early march 2011. I also have a reverse trio of U. lineatus too.
Yes thanks , the beardie is pretty cool. It's a funny little guy, and yea the tanks take some time but its not all that bad.
I have fresh WCs, CB, and LTC U sikorae. I handled them all the same upon arrival basically.
I house them all separately so far in 18x18x24 and 36x18x18 exo terras terrariums. Upon arrival I shower them several times throughout the day in terrariums with garden mister. Depending on what kind of shape they arrive some more mistings then others, ill Usually offer one prey item that day just to see if any interest is taken. I find it good to show alertness and pay attention and hopefully eat the cricket on day 1. I try not to over feed the fresh WCs but I do like to offer 1 or 2 crickets every night for the first few nights to build them back slowly.Healthy geckos Ill feed every other or every 2 nights. I try to make them feel as comfortable as possible, natural habitat , and make sure they get plenty of water. After they are in shape I cut back on the spraying and just do 2-3 nightly sprays. Lightly mist right before lights out also 20 mins after lights out since they are up and about now and once in the middle of the night to maintain moisture until morning. I wont spray day time or morning unless it's hot like its has been in the 90's here lately. I have never used meds and I dont ever plan on it unless it was completely necessary and no questions about it. I do not take them into vets either.
I have lost one WC that I knew that was his fate as soon as I got the package. He never ate .So frail and just to far gone.He should have never been shipped and nothing could be done, Lasted 3 days from arrival. The shipping was bad and imagine his prior car was equally.
My setups for now have Hydroton clay balls for drainage coco fiber and live moss and leaf litter for substrate.Lots of cork slabs, rounds and vertical and horizontal branches. I use pothos, umbrella plants, ficus trees, and orchids throughout them all. I Maintain 60 -90 % RH and keep temps ranging from mid upper 60's to high 70's on very hot summer days. Usually maintain 72-75f daytime. Its been warm here though and run ac basically 24hrs a day in the reptar room.
Some have 6500k bulbs and some have mixed 5.0 uvb and 6500 k bulbs.. 13 watts only.
The last photo on Bamboo is a CB born 9/15/09
The other 2 Leaftails in the pics are both fresh import WCs acquired 2011
