Solarmeter Readings 6.5 Pics

So here are a couple pics of readings I get with my Solar Meter 6.5. The light I am using is an Arcadia 12% T5 48”. One pic is of my fixture with the plastic cover still on it, another pic is of the same light at the same distance without the plastic cover on the fixture. The next pic is of the same fixture but reading through the screen of my cage. The rest of the pics are of different levels of my cage. I hope this helps people who don’t have a solar meter realize what a screen can do to a light.

So are you measuring UVA in those readings? I bought the cheaper Shanghai meter that reads UVB only. It’s amazing how quickly the levels drop in just a matter of inches. I would have never known it unless I had a meter.
