Solarmeter 6.2 uvb meter

Just received my solarmeter 6.2 and found out that 1 of my 10.0 which is new is not putting out enough uvb. I also found that 1 of my mvb lamps is also producing low uvb. Made adjustments in all my cages basking spots to read about 30 1uw/cm2 which is the recommended amount of exposure,well worth the investment.

ya, I've got one too, and I check all my UVB lamps once every 2 months. Sure takes the guess work out of bulb replacement.

I got mine from: http://www.beardeddragons.biz/solarmeter_6.2.htm and at $149+$11 shipping, you may find it hard to beat that price . After reading about your UVB setup in the other posts, I almost invited myself over for a visit with my meter . But then I remembered how far away Ontario is from M.B. .

M.B is a ways away for sure. If you happen to be coming to the genaral area let me know ahead of time. I work for a police department and just like my chameleons I'm always paranoid when a stranger enters my territory.

I'll look into the meter in the next few weeks. Tax money is coming....
