Mine are the umbrella shaped mulberries. I have rose bushes too....but I had them before I started keeping insects.
I also grew dandelions in a container to feed the leaves to the turtles/tortoises and the insects and the iguana I had then too. I fed the flowers to the uromastyx lizards so there wouldn't be any in the plants to go to seed to infest the neighbourhood.
