I am new to owning chameleons.
What is a good schedule for calcium?
What do you recommend for additional vitamins?

Really clueless! Thanks!

What I do for my chameleons is stick to this schedule

mondays - calcium w/o D3
tuesdays - calcium w/o D3
wednesdays - no supplements/ no food 2x a month
thursdays - calcium w/o D3
fridays - calcium w/o D3
saturdays - no food
sundays - herptevite every other week/ calcium with D3 once a month

that's just my schedule and it has worked great for my chameleons so far..
I could be doing it all wrong though haha.. but my chams seem fine.

Also a good thing to use to gutload your crickets and other pet feeders are turnip greens, romaine lettuce, yellow squash, carrots, and apples, sometimes oranges as well.

For gutloading, I highly recommend taking a look at a users blog on these forums. She is called sandrachameleon and her gutloading recipes are amazing! :D

The vitamin schedule above is spot on, almost the same way I do it with no problems. I just feed mostly every other day as mine are nearly all adults.

Hi
What type of chameleon do you have? Male or female? Young or old?
This, and also the BRAND of supplements you choose, and the type of feeder prey you offer, is important info for determining the right supplement schedule for your situation.

Here is a link to good information regarding supplements:

Your picture suggests you have a vieled chameleon. Its needs will be very similar to the panthers I keep, so you may find this food log of interest, as an example:
