And I can't decide on a name!!! I am in between "Ferdinand Magellan" just "Magellan" for short, or "El Calor" which means heat in spanish, I think this is fitting because his sire's name is "El Cid". Suggestions? Thoughts?

I think that is pretty cool tbh, I have never heard of another chameleon being called that or any reptile for that matter.

You must be getting a Kammer baby too. My cham is arrving on Thursday also, assuming their temp in CA is below 90. I am getting a Vincente boy. I have been thinking about naming him Fred or maybe Phred based on a nice guy my husband worked with many years ago who kind of looked like a chameleon. Still pondering other names.

I am! However mine is a boy of El Cid. I am super excited! I've looked at so many pictures of baby chams it's not even funny.

Same here on the Kammers part, I have one of my girls coming in on Thursday :D

It's been way hot, my male from Chameleon Paradise got held up for a week like this girl too. That was earlier in the summer though.

I too am very excited. I have had the cage setup for weeks. I keep adding more stuff. My husband commented that if he does not arrive soon, there won't be room for him. Do you know what size crickets yours is eating? I want to get the crickets on Wedesday.

I was told 1/4 inch crickets are being fed to he El Cid boys so probably similar size I would say.

Back to the topic. What do you guys think about the name El Cuco? Its basically the Spanish version of the bogeyman

Since you're going with the Spanish theme:

El Capitan
Fuego
Madrid
Chimichanga :D
Pico de Gallo

Some are corny, but catchy! :p
