So Larry is shedding, how long does that usually take?

I came home from the dentist (one cavity :() and I was only about 90 minutes or so and when I checked on Larry he had some white stuff trailing behind him and as I got closer I could tell he was shedding. I got some pictures of him and one thing I noticed was that only has back half was shedding. Is it possible for them to shed in sections or is it more likely that I just missed the front half of it happening?

I can't say I see a ton of difference but I am excited none the less. I just sprayed down his home with warm water pretty well and most of the skin is off.

As Jannb said, chameleons that young shed pretty fast. It can be a matter of hours really. By the time you read the answer he should be done with his shed already! ;)

As chameleons grow up, they take more and more time to shed. It's logical anyway, since they have more skin to shed! ;) You'll also notice that they shed less often with time too. At your chameleon's age, he might be shedding every 2 or 3 weeks approximatively. However, if he takes a month before shedding, don't get too anxious! ;)

It should take less than a day. Good idea to give a couple extra mistings to loosen the skin. I have some that hate shedding and rub and run around. They obviously shed much faster. I also have others that don't seem to care. They take a good portion of the day to completely shed!!!

I just checked on him and there is a little bit on his tail and some on his feet. I think I read a post saying that if the shed stays on the feet too long it can start irritating the feet due to shrinkage of the shed skin. Is there anything other than keeping his home moist that will help him avoid a potential problem?

Too long would mean 2-3 days or longer, he will be fine and it will come off by itself.

Hes growing!!! :) whenever they shed it just means hes gonna be big and colourful as the sheds go by :)
heres a pic of Darwin in his first full shed a week or two ago :) he looks funny :)
