Its what started my liking towards Chameleons! c: I have owner over 25 turtles in my lifetime, and each and everyone, was a new challenge. they aren't as easy as you might think. the setups are costly too!
I was going to get one too! Congrats on yours! I wanted Tiki tiki's too, but after what happened 
I didn't wanna risk getting one that would die from the other vendor. Ace said they weren't looking so good when he showed me his new guy. I got myself one of tiki tiki's nosey be's. Finally!

Congratulations on your new little one! Hope you enjoy keeping Melleri as much as I do.
I would treat him/her like a wc, especially being cb melleri are unusual to see at a reptile show. They Are more then likley CH, farmed or WC.
Lots of water, privacy and defiantly keep seperate from your other chams and reptiles. After they settle in then run a fecal to make sure your not dealing with a life threatening parasite.
Melleri are my favorite! Good luck with your new baby.

Lol thats why I said ch, farmed, or wc.
One of my wc guys was a hatchling when I got him he was still wearing his tuxedo and had a scab from the egg sack. He was imported with a bunch of adults, it still amazes me he didnt become another chams dinner!

its just sad that they would import fresh hatched babies, if it was with adults that shows you just how much stress if it made it here without being eatin.

Yea I was just happy the guy offered him to me along with my adult. He just didnt have the accommodations for such a little guy.
His name is Crabman lol and now he weighs 87 grams, all of my other Melleri better watch out for him when he gets big enough to join the group Crabman can be bossy lol
