Found this random mark on the top of my snakes nose... Any ideas !??

Is the side of it's mouth supposed to be pink? I'm just wondering, I have a ball python, and his mouth is white. Has it been rubbing it's face on anything, or recently had a feeder that could've bitten it? We switched our bp to frozen/thawed feeders, because he would always grab the rats by the butt, and they'd try to bite him.

It could also be a burn. What heat source do you use?

We use 100w heat bulb and he has a 60 gallon tank so it's only one spot

Not sure. If not a burn or a bite my next guess would b maybe a scratch that got infected? Is it humid in his tank? Id say neosoprotion to help it close up but thats all i got

Is he able to get to the bulb or directly under it?>
