Snails as a Food Source?

I just saw this in a recent post, and it struck my interest. Are baby snails a good food source for chameleons? They were able to breed the snails within the enclosure, and while the parents were too large for the cham to successfully grab a hold of, the tiny baby snails made a fine meal. Has anyone heard of this? If so, where do you get snails, and how do you breed them?

Yes, snails can make for a good feeder. Should use land snails that are captive bred to reduce risk of parasites.
