smell?

my cage is starting to smell weird. it smell like water have been left there for a long time. does anyone know what to do?

Just try to clean the cage more often and see if that works

Clean the bottom of your cage and plants and it should be fine. Or better yet do a full breakdown

lets see a picture of your cage. Do you have substrate in the bottom which could be molding? Do you have live plants? If so, they could be getting water logged and the roots could be starting to rot. Do you have a dripper? If so, try and position it so it does not constantly drip in the plant or plants.

Well, I thought my cages were smelling and it was actually the crickets next to the cages. Just a thought

Proper drainage and ventilation is the key. Cage should "dry" between mistings also. Other factors can include live plants having too much water in soil and poop sitting in moist or wet bottoms of cages.

Are you sure it's the cage and not the poo? Chameleon poo usually isn't
supposed to smell bad, so if it does, get a fecal done.
