Chameleon Enthusiast
Okay so i have my large dragonstrand atrium(44"wide 45"height 22"deep) just about ready, but i've been tweaking it and taking my time landscaping it and all. I've read young chameleons <1 year old should start in smaller cages and all of the chams i see available online seem to be around the 4 month mark.
So while I am finishing my main cage just how I want it, I was thinking it'd be a good idea to pick up a cheaper, smaller cage in the mean time. I don't mind spending the extra $ and it'd seem like a good idea for my cham when he's younger, for transportation, and just to have in case i'd need it for whatever.
I'd want it to be as simplistic as possible since it's only temporary, but obviously with all of the necessary requirements. By simplistic i don't mean i want to cut corners. I was looking at different 'all-in-one' cages online that seemed decently priced, is there one package deal you guys would recommend? Also will i be able to get away with hand misting for now? I have my mistking that I'm going to use with my dragon strand, but i figured it wouldn't be a problem just doing it manual for a few months. This will give me time to monitor my cham closely and get Used to him while perfecting my long term living room display.
Let me know what you guys think about this and if you have any suggestions.
